CREW MANAGEMENT

PRONAV is a specialized and certified crew manager serving first class international and German ship owners. PRONAV also provides crewing services to PRONAV-managed Vessels. These are sophisticated vessels and we are proud to say that we do this better than most. Seagoing Personnel

Stringent selection procedures apply - whenever possible key personnel is interviewed in person. This includes reference and document check for mandatory licenses and qualifications, English testing, medical examination to highest standard, specific system training with manufacturers and simulator training. PRONAV allows generous time for on the job training and familiarization onboard the ship.


System of Ship Visits

PRONAV systematically visits ships under crew management. Any deficiency is weeded out before it develops. Personal issues are solved early. An ever closer contact between ship and shore personnel is built up. PRONAV invests in mutual trust and are trusted.


Agency Network

PRONAV maintains agencies in most seafarer supply countries. Over and above normal recruitment and processing duties local Agents must fulfil following pre-requisites:

         • Treat seafarers as human assets
         • Honour loyalty and bonding to the company
         • Maintain a principal-dedicated pool of personnel
         • Definitely not take money from the seaman for his recruitment
         • Undergo regular audit control and monitoring processes
